Keeping your account safe is entirely up to you. Nearly all "hackings" are actually the result
of the user giving out their password. NEVER give out your password for any reason!
Below are some of the warnings given by Gaia's new security message notices.

Never give your your password or other personal information to another member. Gaia staff will never ask
for your password. If a member is asking for your password in this private message, please use the
to notify staff.
Never complete a trade with another member if you cannot see the item you agreed to trade for. If a
member offers to trade a wrapped item or claims that the bank is not working correctly, do not trade
with them. Please use the notify staff.
Botting is not allowed. This includes but is not limited to; using an automated script, macro, or
refreshing feature to post, surf webpages or automaticly play games in order to generate Gaia gold or gain Gaia
items and/or using multiple accounts to do so is considered botting. Any accounts found to be profiting from
botting will be banned.
Note for clarification from Sai: This does not mean having multiple accounts is botting! It's referring to
the use of either one account or multiple accounts to use a "bot" program. Having multiple accounts is not
against the ToS.
Buying, selling or trading Gaia gold, Gaia items or your Gaia account with real money is not allowed.
Any members found buying, selling or trading will have their Gaia account banned.
Cybering (cybersex) is not allowed anywhere on Gaia. If another member requests or offers to cyber
with you, please use the to notify staff.
