Why the hell is her avatar male There is a valid reason! D: Long, long ago, I played an MMO called Graal. Neat game, but unfortunately, it was full of guys who would PM people with female avatars to be their "gf" or to cyber. After an incident where one particular loser started the harassment with me and then moved on to actually CHASING me around the map, telling anyone I asked for help to never mind, we were "just playing" and then killing me over and over because I refused, I switched to using a male character, modeled after my favorite of my original characters, Saikatsu. Never got bothered by anyone for anything "relationship" related or for cybering ever again.
Obviously, as you can see, it's become somewhat of a habit.
Hobbies Art (hand-drawn, CG in Photoshop and Illustrator, pixel work), programming, gaming
Known Computer Languages HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Java, C++, VB.NET, XML

The first public version of the GAvSim launched in late September of 2003, shortly after which the link spread through the former Questions & Feedback forum (now Questions & Assistance) like wildfire. (That's not an exaggeration...) It was noticed by a moderator, 58mm, and passed on to the admins to verify whether or not my use of the Gaia images was legal. The response came back quickly; the project was deemed okay and Lanzer wished me luck. The GHSim would be approved later, after the panel at the Anime Expo 2005.

It has gone through a few host changes since then, although the GAvSim itself has resided on the same server now since late 2004 - early 2005. It WOULD be on the server that the rest of the website lives on, but when it was there for a short time, the scripts were disabled by the host's staff due to the high amount of traffic bogging down the server (and in turn, other websites).

The GAvSim is a combination of JavaScript and PHP. The GHSim, however, works entirely on JavaScript (at this time-- future support for generating a completed image is in the works). The website is built using PHP with touches of SQL here and there.

The current version of the GAvSim is partly coded by Rachel's boyfriend, Bobby L. ("Beta").

Swift is freaking overpowered and scary. Nerf Swift, plz.
